Salary Thresholds 2025

For workers under 30: €3,977/month gross. For workers 30 and over: €5,449/month gross. For graduates from a Dutch university (Orientation Year graduates switching to Kennismigrant): €2,801/month.

Application Process

Your Dutch employer must be a recognised IND sponsor. They submit the application to the IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) on your behalf. Processing typically takes 2–4 weeks — one of the fastest in Europe.
