United Kingdom

NHS Band 6 pharmacists start at £35,392 and progress to £42,618. Senior/Clinical Pharmacists (Band 7): £43,742–£50,056. Locum rates: £25–£35/hour. Superintendent Pharmacists in community chains: £50,000–£75,000+.

Ireland

Clinical pharmacists in Irish hospitals earn €52,000–€68,000. Retail/community sector pay is slightly lower at €45,000–€60,000. Locum rates in Ireland are strong: €30–€45/hour. Ireland has an active recruitment programme for pharmacists from India, Pakistan, and South Africa.

Germany
